Shipping Policy
We strive to get your area rug to you as quickly as possible. Here’s what you need to know about our shipping process:
Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation.
Shipping Time: Once your order is processed, it will take 2 to 5 business days to arrive at your doorstep, depending on your location.
Shipping Carriers: We partner with reliable shipping carriers to ensure your rug arrives safely and on time.
Tracking Information: Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can monitor your delivery.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your rug, as well as your delivery location. Please note: Delivery times may vary during holidays or peak seasons. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Returns Policy

We want you to love your new area rug! If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery.

Eligibility for Returns:

The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.

Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

How to Initiate a Return:

Contact our customer service team at enquires@rugsoriginal.co.za or 0873539787 within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number and reason for the return.

Once your return is approved, we’ll provide instructions on how to send the item back.

Return Shipping Costs:

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged or defective.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return is received.

Refunds:

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll process your refund within 5-7 business days.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Note: Custom-made or clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned unless damaged or defective.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your area rug arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at enquires@rugsoriginal.co.za or 0873539787. We’ll work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, whether that means sending a replacement or issuing a refund.
